  • #39 Question

I recently purchased some #39 for cleaning some old wax off the wheel moldings of my explorer. I used it and it seemed to go away, but it is back. I ever tried to scub it with a toothbrush no luck. Is there any tricks or tips anyone has for removing this old wax. Thanks

    Hey,

Old dried wax can be a real pain sometimes!!

Here is what I do: I will spray the #39 on to the molding and leave it sit there for a minute or two. Then I come back with a toothbrush and scrub the molding and wipe off with a towel.

If that does not do it, then I switch to Meguiar's Trim Detailer. I will apply it, leave it on for a few minutes, scrub with a toothbrush and then wipe off thoroughly.

    Gold Class Trim Detailer

Give the Trim Detailer a try!

After using a cleaner, be sure to dress the molding with something #40 or Meg's All Season Dressing.
