  • Help for a newbie - cleaning step

Hi all, as I wrote in the presentation post I'm new to detailing world.
I always washed, clayed, waxed my car with meguiars products but now it's time to go deeper!
I'd like to clean my car, I bought scratchX 2.0 but I think it could be too aggressive (my car has only some light swirls)..so I think I should try m205 or swirlX..don't know which one.
I'm also thinking about buying the da power system as I read it's easy to use (I'm amateur and I just take care or my care so it should be enough).
Can I damage the paint with that?
How can I choose the right pad for the right product?(do I have to follow the guide, red for compound, yellow for pure polish, black for wax?)
Sorry for the long post and for gramatical orrors..and thanks for any advice!

Hello and welcome to MOL.Scratch X is fine but I would use M205, yellow pad and a DA.A DA with a foam pad is very easy to use, don't be afraid of it. lolYes burgundy pad for cutting, yellow for polishing and black for waxMyself I use the yellow pad for applicationiton. It just helps with making the paint a little flatter.

use what you can find then.Your job sounds easy enough for scratch X to handle. And try and find a detail supply shop.Stop by your nerest Detail shop and ask them. Also do a web search for detailers.
