Technically, you should only apply products that are formulated to be body shop safe, which is another way of saying, safe for fresh paint.Originally posted by max jones

M34 Final Inspection is body shop safe
Meguiar's Quik Detailer is not body shop safe
Always follow your painters recommendation as to how soon to apply wax to your car's fresh paint. Until then, you can use Meguiar's pure polishes safely.
