  • Help w/ UQW on windshield causing haze

When it rains the drivers and passenger side window look very hazy when the wipers move left to right , but the middle of the windshield looks very clear. I recently put on UQW to repel some of the rain. I had a brand new windshield installed this past summer so this is the only product that I've used on the window other than window cleaner. What would be the most effective way to remove the UQW since it is causing the haze on the drivers and passenger side window for some strange reason? Should I just use some window cleaner and some plain old newspaper to remove it? I just wanna make the windshield even worse. Thank you in advance.

I imagine he meant IPA (IspPropyl Alcohol).

Never had an issue with D156 on windows. I always make sure to use a separate MF to buff off though.

Afterwards just clean with glass cleaner? I have Invisible Glass cleaner.

I also read that Bonami 1886 Original Cleaning would be great to use.

Here's a product you can try: "No-Touch Auto Glass Stripper" (GS-8). Most auto parts stores carry it. A bit sloppy to use, but is DOES work.

I applied some isopropyl alcohol and followed that with some Invisible Glass. Looks much better now other then some minor streaks when my wipers are working.
