I have a G100 and the DC#2 (polish) and was satisfied with the results. Now I want better!
I haven't had a chance to use it, yet I thought the #7 would best compliment the Gold Class wax to give a deep shine.
I've been reading (should've come here first) and have read that #80 is preferred to #7, yet don't understand why.
I have a fairly new Mercedes C230 Brilliant Silver I don't feel the need for the #83 at this point as the paint is in good condition - very few swirls - I have always followed the detailing steps to wash, clay, and wax my car - now I want to get the most out of my polish!
I also have the NXT wax. I've used NXT for the winter months and switch to Gold Class for the summer months. Canadian (Ottawa) winters ****, so I'm not as concerned about the best shine. I like the NXT cause it seems to last longer and easier to apply than the Gold Class.
So I have the following questions:
1. Why #80 over #7?
2. Is #7 suitable with Gold Class wax?
3. Is #7 suitable with NXT wax?
Thanks for any/all help!
