  • ultimate wash and wax or quick detailer

I live in a apartment complex. Last week I did a clay, ultimate compound for oxidation, polish, and wax. I noticed the car had a layer of dust. Should I use wash & wax or quick detailer?
I have both and not sure what to use.
    Thanks for the reply.

It is always tough to say where the line between light dust and heavy dust is.

After a week, and getting road grime, etc... I'd probably say use more of wash type product.

I successfully used the wash and wax. Wow, it looks really good. I had a ample supply of microfiber towels. The entire process took only 15 minutes. I was a little disappointed, it didn't take longer, I enjoy the whole car wash process.
The finish feels smooth just like I waxed it. Thanks for the recommendation.

If you find yourself doing that often, you may want something like the Rinseless Wash in the Pro line in bulk. Wont have the wax, but may work out cheaper overall.

Quick detail sprays are fine for light dust, usually no more than just a day's worth, and are perfectly safe to use daily with the appropriate technique, towels, etc. Once the car has been exposed for a week, or driven in rain, snow, etc it needs a more involved wash. Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere was developed for people just like - those who live in apartments, condos or other areas where it's all but impossible to use a hose and bucket. As Mat points out, D114 Rinse Free Express Wash is another option, but you will need a bucket in order to use it.
