Re: ultimate protectant spary is it good for wheel wells
I use Meguiars tire foam for the wheel wells on my Ram. Works fantastic! Just spray them all and walk away. Super easy and...stays nice and glossy for a few weeks. As a bonus It is only about $4-5 bucks a can depending on where you purchase it.

Thanks that's a good idea I haven't explored yet either I was wondering because I've used tire shine gel and spray & those tend to b a little messy. I have had success with trim detailers for their purpose but it just makes sense they would work for wheel wells that's y I was considering the spray because of the space constraints. And ultimate protestant is the only trim detailer I know of that has a spray version

Thanx wash me. No not worried just trying to think of different or better alternatives than using tire shine & something that will last longer and actually protect. I just thought of trim detailers because I want to restore more than just cover up

Re: ultimate protectant spary is it good for wheel wells
A liquid like the Ult. Protectant or All Season Dressing might spread easiest, with the most protection. Something like some foam paint brushes can help.
Hyper Dressing is probably easiest of all to spread, but least durable.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: ultimate protectant spary is it good for wheel wells
Thanks guys. And any kind of vehicles I guess but in particular Cadillac escalade I mean there's alot of wheel well exposed there and it is quite messy to get in there and apply any kind of dressing. So that's y I considered the ult protectant spray and yeah a brush of some kind to spread and then wipe some excess

I wanna thank everybody for all the feedback I will give it a try on some different vehicles and let u know how they turn out because if it looks good I want to check the durability and longevity as well because personally I would like to do this if successful on my own vehicles too

Re: ultimate protectant spary is it good for wheel wells
I have found that if I use the APC for cleaning tires/wheel wells, there isnt much damage to repair.
My last car, 05 Legacy, I used Simple Green and turned my wells white... ASD brought them back to gray.
So I dont know how much is needed, but a good quality cleaner seems to lessen the need for dressing.

As far as the UQw... a spray is certainly easy on wheels, easier to spread. And UQW is quite durable. but you may also like to try the Break Dust Barrier... makes washing off dirt very easy.
But this is my only detailing forum, just to say...2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
