    Well, I think as Mike said, either dead paint needs removed, or what is there needs moisturized. Both #80 and #7 have a lot of oils, so that would be the moisturizing option.

    But yeah, dead paint just wont hold results long. How much you can remove is a much more difficult question.

        the paint sometimes looks as if it has a whitish cuticle, i think i can get rid of that with m80 and then make the finish last by applying some strong sealant and then weekly waxing over that sealant. but one thing that i forgot to mention is that after the glaze and gc treatment though the reflectivity was lost in a bunch of days, the depth did last for around a month. i did the same gc and glaze treatment on a test panel, i did half the panel with glaze and gc and the other half with just gc. the glazed part was much darker than the other for the month. ill post pics of the other car that was treated with compound, maybe it will help you reach a conclusion

            this is the other car that was treated with compound. i have tested a sealant that works well on my car, now i just want to make the paint a little more darker (reduce the whiteness) and add a little clarity to the reflection(the sealant will take care of the durability) , i have two options use deep crystal polish or m80 speed glaze.

                Margallar Bro, Dont just run after the depth... Depth is nothing. Its just the visual effect artificially created with waxes. It makes the paint look darker, but Doesnt darken the paint indeed. The colour of the paint will remain same, it wont change. Its just the visual effect created by Carnauba waxes. Once u strip the waxes, all depth gone....woooshhh! Got it?
