Hi All,
I have been a long time meguiars user and I love their products...
I seek a bit of advise - particularly as I've never owned a black car before, and I know they can both show up dirt as well as scratches... so I don't want to screw it up, and as it is the wife's car, that goes double!
My car is a Blue Subaru Impreza STi and my usual waxing regime is to wash it thoroughly (of course) using the NXT Gen Wash with a 2 bucket system, followed by a clay bar treatment... I then use a orbital buffer to apply the first coat of Deep Crystal Wet Look Wax waxed off by hand, then apply NXT Gen Tech Wax 2.0 for the second and final coat applied with a buffer, then waxed off by hand...
The wifes new car - a ML320 CDI in Obsidian Black - it's a few years old and the paint is still in pretty decend condition with minor superficial swirls...
Is the same process/products suitable for the Merc? or should I change to a different method or different products entirely?? I.e. the Ultimate Polish and Liquid Wax?? with a Swirl-X Treatment prior to Polish and Wax??
Any help appreciated... I certainly don't want to do it wrong :P
Regards,
Matt
