I am going to give the paintwork a clean with the clear coat body scrub and wondered if there would be any benefit in applying the auto glym super resin polish after before waxing or are the two doing a simular job?

Meguiar's Clear Coat Body Scrub is a dedicated cleaner. Whereas the Autoglym Super Resin Polish is a cleaner, polish and sealant all in one. Generally, I would suggest you use the dedicated paint cleaner and follow that with a polishing/sealing product. In your case, use the Body Scrub first and then use the Autoglym. However, I have never used this particular product/brand combination and therefore can not comment on its performance/effectiveness.

Many thanks for the reply, i am a recent Meguiars convert and have quite a few products now but am still having to use up whats left of my old stuff ie the Auto Glym due to the money i,ve spent on the Megs stuff.

I've tried Autoglym SRP and it's a cleaner/wax combination i think.
Meguiars Cleaner/wax is easier to apply and remove IMHO, even easier than the NXT wax. I'm not sure about how long they will last though. I prefer a sepparate polish, cleaner and sealant, since cleaner/waxes are compromises.Comment
