Even paint would wash off, but you'd see the difference.

If you have SwirlX, no reason not to try it first.

Just start gently... that wont hurt it.

The whole thing does sound odd... but if just a stain, a mild paint cleaner would be the first place to start for that.

Re: QD + Scratchx = Paint Discoloration

              Hey guys,

Sorry for the late reply, so I used swirlx with a new foam applicator and was able to gently remove the light stain.. Thank god!! Must have been something on my hands or the appliicator that caused the stain.

Is it ok not to wax after using the scratchx/swirlx?? I skipped waxing out of fear that I might f*** it up again. Does scratchx/swirlx take all the wax off when applied?

                Sounds good.

Yeah, SwirlX / ScratchX would remove all wax.

Just make sure you have everything washed, and should be ok.

Maybe let the pads soak a while in Dawn or something, then rinse out, and towels washed. Then should be ok to wax ,and whatnot in the future.

Will it ruin the paint/clear coat if I skip waxing the area that I used scratchx?

No. But it will be "unprotected" though.

Hmmm, I shall wax the area then, hopefully it can wait till this weekend..

Sure, just wash or QD the area so it is clean first.
