  • Best protection from bugs and road grime when traveling.

We're planning a trip this Friday and I'd like to know what is the best process for minimizing the bugs and road grime I'll be collecting on the front of the car. I've read that some people use Saran Wrap and peel it off at intervals along the way. Not too sure about that method.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Automotive Care & Detailing - How to prevent this detailing nightmare? - I am not sure if there is anything I can do here, but figured I'd ask anyway. I have a black car (pictured below) and I try to keep it well detailed. It stays garaged at my house and I avoid the rookie mistakes like parking under trees or washing...

I prefer to use Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere before heading out and when I get to the destination. Although full taping of your car may offer more protection. Just make sure you use automotive tape or tape for delicate surfaces.

D156 should do a good job of not letting the bugs stick.
Bug protein is very hard to remove. so prevention is the key, you even might want to use a polymer wax (nxt) on your grill and leave it on. just put a light coat and off you go.
