  • Foam gun question

So I'm thinking about buying a foam gun to wash my cars. I was looking at the one Chemical Guys LINKY sells or a gilmour LINKY. But I'm open to suggestions. Is there a brand or particular unit people like? Some common complaints were some guns don't shoot the foam far enough.

I bought a gilmoure foam gun off Amazon but I didn't know at the time there was a two different kinds the one I bought is a single ratio type but they do have a multi ratio one that you wont to get.

How far does it need to shoot?

I would say 4 to 5 feet, but that's just me. Of course, some people have to find the slightest things to complain about.

If you have decent water pressure, the Gilmour type will easily shoot further than that....

The hose end ones dont put out that real shaving cream like foam, and the Meguiars washes arent designed as much for it either. The SuperSoap would be the foamiest one if you wanted to use that.

I use #62, but I dont expect the foam clinging around long... just long enough to wipe the surface is all I want.

I have the Gilmour multi setting and I am very happy with it.
