Just the Ult. Polish would be used for the regular detailing.

I was sure hopeful that it would do a lot better but I guess I have to give it up and resolve to the fact that it will have to be repainted soon. But I'll continue to maintain and make sure this doesn't happen anywhere else on the truck. Thanks guys for all the info and help. Will let you know if there is any change.

Re: Haze on black paint. Is it too late?

Here's an update on my truck. It's been about 8 months since I first posted about the hood and the pics. Sad to say, it has gotten worse and is very dull and with a white haze that is worse. I have been waxing it and trying to maintain it as long as possible but noticed the other day, there is a tiny chip in the paint where it is obviously starting to peel. I will be getting it painted soon. I do have a question. Once it is repainted, what is the protocol about waxing, etc. ? Can I do it right away or do I need to wait, etc. Appreciate all the help you guys have given me.

No wax or sealant for 30 days (or 60 or 90). Whoever paints it for you ask them, but 30 at a minimum.

You can put PURE polish on it, it doesn't protect the paint however.

Ok, thanks. I'll ask and I was thinking you had to wait awhile, just couldn't remember how long.
