Ok, so i have read a few articles and post about the types of water spots and stuff i can use to remove them, but i still have a few questions.
My friend asked me to detail his 2011 black Mercedes, which was sprayed by his sprinkler system. unfortunately he didn't wash it for two months and it was baked by sun.
First i did most of the car that was not spotted with swirl x using an orange lake county 6" pad on and a PC with the setting on 4, once i got to the spotted area, it barely seem to remove the spots. So i went over it again, but the spots were still there, then i tried Meg's UC, but did it by hand since i didn't have any more orange pads, it help a little bit (went over it twice) but under the light it was still pretty bad.
Finally i decided to use M105 however i only had a white from lake county to use, when i used that it seemed to make quite a difference however there were still many tough spots left.
My question is in a case like that should have tried a more aggressive pad with UC, or maybe a more aggressive pad with 105? or was it possible i could have just used bad technique?
Also does M105 normally dry very quick?, that was the first time i used it.
I can post a pic as well if anyone would like to see.
sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any help
