  • Where does scratch X 2.0 fit into the steps? QUICK RESPONSE NEEDED

    Hi everyone.

It has been awhile since I have been on here and am currently doing a long over due detail of my truck when I hit a mental block. I've already washed/clayed it and just finished taping off the plastic. I intend to use the Meguiars pro cleaner wax and then NXT 2.0. My question is I have a few spots with visible scratches in the clear coat that in the past have used scratch x to conceal. Where does this fit into my other wax steps?

That is quick enough, thanks. I couldn't remember if it was before or after a cleaner wax. I don't intend on doing the whole car just select spots.

The ScratchX would remove the polishing oils and wax from the cleaner/wax.

Rather than make another new topic. I also have an orbital buffer with 3 different bonnets. I'm trying to determine the order, one is a thick plush, larger microfiber and fine microfiber. I'm aware these buffers have limited use and abilities. When it comes to applying/removing/polishing wax does it matter which one is used when or should I start with a specific one?
