gold class Endurance tire gel for other rubber parts ?

It's safe to use Endurance purple tire gel on other rubbers, like weatherstripping, side mirror trim, etc, right ?

I did not feel like spending anymore money on other products, so I put a little on the door weatherstrip and rubbed it in for a satin finish.

Endurance gel is water based, right?

Shouldn't be a problem, just make sure to remove any excess product. Tire gels are thicker than protectants and dressings, and may give an unnatural sheen on those trims.

The tire gels would also be more likely to rub off on your skin/clothes if you brush up against them.

But wont hurt anything.
