  • ? on pads

Started the process for the first time yesterday.

    I started with M-83 with a yellow 6" pad.

After doing two 2'X2' areas I tried to clean the yellow pad several times. With the buffer at setting and terry cloth towel none of the product came off. Then I used more pressure and the backing plate stopped turning. Then I set the buffer to the highest speed and it flew off. After that it would never stay on the backing plate. (Fortunately I had another new yellow pad. Since I failed cleaning the first pad. I never cleaned the pad.)

How much product did you put into your pad? Maybe your foam pad didn't get loaded up with product after 2 sections.

    What buffer are you using?

Can you please post a picture of the buffing pad that won't attach to the BP?

I put the amount that is shown in the video instructions with the X pattern.

Yes - later today. Since it would seem the the pad's backing holdes it to the backing plate.

      This pad is real dirty

Doesn't the pad's backing hold it to the backing plate.
