  • In Search of a Wheel Brush

So Far the only thing I found that I can clean my wheels with is my old chenille car wash mitt. This is a little time consuming

I tried about everything over the counter and had no success.

Has anyone tried this brush ?? Daytona Speed Master brush $29.99

Maybe I should try home depot or Lowe's. this looks like something you clean the toilet with :-)

This brush works very well. I have this brush with Mothers complete brush lineup and they get the job done. Only problem with the Mothers brushes are the say Mothers and not Meguiars.

I would expect the Daytona speed brush to be incredible at that price. I almost ordered both sizes, but decided to wait a few weeks.

I've wanted a Mothers brush set since they were released. I know I need to order a set before they go away like the Meguiars brushes.

The Mothers Wheel Well Brush seems a bit odd though... It certainly wont fit in my wheelwells. It is more like a long handled wheel face brush.

I have the Daytona brush and the junior version, used both and they are absolutely the best wheel brushes I have ever used. Makes quick work of all my wheels....dip it in a bucket of soapy water and insert into the barrels/spokes and it really loosens the grime. Check out the reviews at AG.
Bit pricey but well worth it

Re: In Search of a Wheel Brush

I have one of the old Meguiars Gold Class Wheel Brushes, it is very similar in design to the Daytona one, one nice thing though is that it has a nice rubber tip as to not scratch delicate wheel finishes. It works really well with some APC, Super Degreaser or Safe Degreaser and it rinses off quickly no matter how much grime it has on it. Try to see if you can find one on ebay or craigslist, if not that Daytona brush looks fine so long as the bristles are not too stiff.
