A cutting pad is a big no no in my opinion. I'll be using a yellow polishing pad.

I love the Acura TLs!!! Please post pictures of your detailing project. I'm sure that color will pop.

I don't know about the Acura paint, but I am doing my grandpas truck for fathers day... Just thought it was funny. I wonder how many other people are detailing for fathers day

First detail of a car other than my own.

I am going to detail a 2012 Acura TL burgandy color tomorrow. This car's finish is horrible considering it's a 2012. The owner is my 73 year old father in law. He doesn't wash his own vehicle and I am doing this as a fathers day gift He goes through the car wash after getting gas each time. The paint has swirls and some scratches from the mechanical car wash. I am going to do a five step process, wash, clay, UC, UP, UW, with my G110V2. My question is, does anybody have experience with correcting new Acura paint? Is the paint hard or relatively easy to correct? I am going to do a test spot, of course. Because this is not my vehicle I am looking for some insight. Thanks!
