    Best Care for New Charger?

    I have purchased a 2012 Dodge Charger about two weeks ago. I'm ready to go ahead and give it the business as far as a detail. I have purchased the Ultimate Polish as well as the #7 glaze. i plan to finish up with Ultimate Paste Wax. Should I avoid the UP and just use the glaze? I certainly don't want to haze up the finish with any marks just yet. How would you all proceed and what products would you use?

    1. Wash - Gold Class soap, 2 buckets, Grit Guards is possible.. good mitts , towels.
    2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
    3. Clean/Polish - Ult. Polish
    4. Wax
    5. Wax

    6. Maintain - Ult. Quick Wax for after future washes.

    You can try a test spot with the #7 after the Ult. Polish, but not sure you'll see much difference.

      Proper use of Ultimate Polish won't haze up the finish at all. In fact, a product like UP will remove any haze from the finish, as well as giving you some gloss and color depth. If you are very careful with the car, wash properly, etc., you shouldn't have to use anything more aggressive than Ultimate Polish from time to time to keep it looking great (assuming it's not already swirled from the dealer).
