Difference between Ultimate Polish and M09 Swirl Remover 2.0

I've been lurking on the forum for about over a year and finally took the short amount of time to register lol. I picked up a bottle of Ultimate Polish and used it some and I really like the way it leaves the finish especially following ult. compound. I wanted to pick up some M205 but no shops have it here locally but I found some M09 at Pepboys and decided to buy it. I have yet to give it a test but was wondering how it compared to Ult. Polish??? It appears as though you tried to upload images directly from your hard drive to the post, and that doesn't work. You'll have to upload to the gallery first and then place them in a post from there.

As to your question: Ultimate Polish is derived from M205 but it provides less cut but more polishing oils than M205. Both use our non diminishing SMAT abrasives. M09 is a diminishing abrasive paint cleaner with similar cut to M205 but being that it's a bit more "old school" it may not give quite as nice a finish on a modern clear coat as M205 will. If you're working with a DA buffer you could use M09 as an initial step with a polishing pad to remove light defects, then follow with Ultimate Polish to enhance gloss even further before waxing.
