    Re: Car Cover

Covercraft is pretty top of the line for a brand. They used to make the Meguiars ones i believe, and i have one just in case it is needed.

A good cover wont really scratch... but the dust/dirt/debris trapped under it will. Or even a good one that is able to slide around a lot.

Okay i just washed and wax it. I got a twenty five dollar cover at menards. I took and put blankets on the spots were the cover will rub the most. It seems like the mirrors will get rubbed the most because the are at the tightest spot will have to see how it looks when I take it off sometime.

I think a bad car cover could do more harm than good. How often will you be driving the car? If frequenty, invest in a good cover. I have a covercraft 380 custom fit and it is phenomenal.

I picked up a hand full of 'flannel sheets' at as garage sale some years back. 'She who must be obeyed' sewed them all together so that they just drape over my truck. Being soft and well used, no scratches or anything.

During the winter months, that gas hog of a truck of mine just goes in the garage and sleeps till spring. Kinda like a big white bear.
