  • Washing MF etc.

I am sure this is going to be a total newbie question, but how do you wash everything? Is there a place on here with laundering instructions? I have a 2 WM's, 2 SS towels, various MF towels and a few foam applicator pads that are all in need of a wash. I think I remember someone saying they have washed their foam applicators.,,if so that would be great because they are nowhere to be found in this area for purchase without buying a whole wax kit

    Thanks

    Re: Washing MF etc.

I usually wash my Microfiber towels, MF wash mitts, etc. with my foam applicator pads in my washing machine in warm water using a liquid detergent.

I throw the towels, etc. in the dryer on low or medium heat WITHOUT dryer sheets.

I usually do MF together, then anything terry together.

I do anything with foam by hand with some dish soap.

Hot water with some super degreaser worked great when I was cleaning some of my DA polish pads, used them to apply A12

I throw pads into laundry with MF towels. Just nothing has lint with MF towels. I did spray APC+ onto them first. Too lazy to hand wash anything.

I spot treat the towels with a little APC+ then throw them in the laundry with other microfibers only. You can throw them in the dryer on a low setting or set them out to try. Some people make a big fuss about using liquid rather than powder detergents, but I don't see why. Unless you're putting more powder in than can dissolve in the water, you won't have any issues.
