I bought a G110v2 from Amazon 2-3 weeks ago. I got the itch to go detail my truck, I washed it using DC car wash and the 2 bucket system, clayed it with the clay kit (which made my paint feel unbelieveably smooth!), then came time for the UC on the DA. Got my yellow polishing pad ready, taped off my test spot, put my "X" of UC on the pad put it in my test spot, flipped the switch and....nothing. Flicked the switch on and off, still nothing. Came upstairs and switched out the brushes, still nada. I called Megs and talked to a guy named Tim who was very helpful and polite and told me to ship it in and it will be replaced, most likely shipping damage he said. Meanwhile i have some UC on my hood from the pad that i worked in with a foam hand pad that i luckily had, and the test spot cleaned up rather nicely, you can definately tell where the UC had been applied. So, here's the million dollar question, when i get my DA back and go to apply the UC again, will everything be evened out or will i still have a noticeable spot in the hood where i have already applied it? Thanks for any and all help on this!

Re: UC Dilemma
Not only will it even out, it will do so very quickly and you'll never know it happened. In fact, the spot you see now that looks better than the surrounding paint will most likely (along with the surrounding paint, of course) look even better still following a full run with the buffer.Michael Stoops
