Well, you have a few options.

All Purpose Cleaner or All Purpose Cleaner + would be good options if you needed a stronger cleaner than just car soap (and the APC/+ are great for just about everything, so wont hurt to buy a jug). Then you could follow them up with:

Ult. Protectant would be a good choice to protect it. The spray version may be easier to apply over a big area.
All Season Dressing is something sold in bulk, if you thought you would be using it a lot.

Or, M40 is a popular product that is sold in bulk, and has some mild cleaning ability, as well as protection. Not quite as durable as those mentioned above.

Not sure what you mean by the differences... though usually just as easy to ask here...

A thorough cleaning while washing the rest of the vehicle can be enhanced by using a soft car wash brush. The surface should then be dried thoroughly to avoid water spotting. Heavy stains can be treated with M39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner and a terry cloth towel, or you could even go over it with M39 and a foam polishing pad attached to a DA buffer. Use speed 3 to 4 with just light to moderate pressure, and wipe off the residue before it has a chance to dry.

We've even applied Ultimate Protectant to full bed tonneau covers using a DA and a finishing pad, but just make sure you don't over use the product. UP is nice in that, when applied to a thoroughly cleaned vinyl tonneau it won't just run off in the rain due to the polymer formulation.

Of course, crazy as it sounds, Ultimate Quik Wax can do wonders on these covers, and it's super easy to spray and wipe over such a large area.

Quick wax will not damage cover?

Ult Quick Wax wont damage it.

I dont know if it would be as moisturizing as a dressing though.

Maybe the best solution is a bit of both. A dressing when you are detailing, and UQW after regular washes.

What about Hyper-dressing? I know it has many uses.

It would be fine, just lower durability.

Just the thread I was looking for. I've used M40 on exterior surfaces before but noticed lots of run off after rain. What would offer better conditioning M40 or Ult Protectant? clearly the UP will offer better UV protection since it stays put better... Other than that is there any reason to opt for UP vs M40 on a vinyl tonneau cover which will see all seasons usage?

Your going to have a little run off. I wipe off excess after applying dressings.
UP is the consumer product and M40 is the pro stuff.
Both are great all season dressings

UP won't run in the rain like M40 can.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
