  • May NOT post attachments

    Hola,

I recently, with the help of others on the forum, was able to upload my car pictures to my gallery and photos.

Then when I go to attach them to my new thread I don't see any way of attaching them. One of the comments at the bottom of the screen is "May not post attachments".

Anyone know how I could get my photos onto my new thread? Thanks a mil?

What you want to do is go to your photo and copy the link for it from the properties. Then use the 'Insert Image' button to insert the link.

On the photo page look for the box called "Direct Link" copy what is in that box. Then go to the little icon of a picture in this box called "insert image". Paste your info there and you get this...

Do you see in the quick reply box, there is a little green square with a tree looking thing? Next to the film strip.

I see the quick reply box and the little box with tree looking thing but when I click it it just closes the Reply Box.

Hmmm.. I have the screen go whitish, and a box pops up to put the link in....

What browser are you on? Maybe someone can compare.

Yeah, I got there when I press the button A whiteish screen pops up where I could enter it. Not sure how to get that to become a new post or add 5 pictures.

In my post above, which was done via my Droid Bionic phone, you can see that the attachment comes through as just that - an attachment, rather than the image shown in line like it would if posted via desktop or laptop computer. It also shows that I "Posted from Android app" at the very bottom of the post display.

Apologies if this bothers anyone, trying to see which thing makes the pic appear in the text box, rather than using a link...
