  • Pollen HELP

Im going to detail this weekend with clay bay, ultimate polish, and #26 liquid yellow wax. Im worried about the pollen that plagues new jersey at this time of the year. Should i hold off on the detailing or do it. Im not sure what to expect can anyone give me an idea of the effects of the pollen after detailing.

Im a daily driver and i have a 2007 black mustang if thats relevant info idk

    Just do it IMO.

You can always remove the pollen relatively easily with a duster and/or QD.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

      Re: Pollen HELP

You can still detail your car, it may seem useless or impractical but a detailed car will be more resistant to pollen than an undetailed, unprotected car. Ok, so pollen may be a problem but if your car is waxed/protected, the pollen/dust/dirt that lands on your finish will be A LOT EASIER to wash off, reducing the risk of any potential damage that can happen when you get to wash it again.
