Any ideas for a cheap water repellent spray for a car cover? I live in the PNW, where the constant moisture and shade are turning my car cover green, which is a PITA to clean. I looked at West Marine's site but their offerings are spendy. I thought about NuFinish (remember -- cheap) but it'd be a ***** to apply.

This is what I use as water repellent on jackets, shoes, gloves and use it as lubricant on anything. Does not stain or discolor even on suede. I used it on my shoes to walk in wet snow and salt. Keeps them sealed. Just my 2 cents. -

You may have a hard time finding Sotchguard, it's not being made any more because of a hazard to human health.Comment
