  • Finishing wax with MF finishing pad

    Hi to All,
Is the MF finishing pad with finishing wax can induce any cut to a paint. If the answer is yes, what pad should i use to avoid cutting to the paint. The reason been the paint it looks perfect at least from my standpoint and I would like to use finishing wax but no cutting.

The only way you could get milder is to work gently by hand, or not touch the paint with anything.

Is the Finishing wax can be applied by hand? I thought its developed to be used with DA, here what I would like to get advice on if applied finishing wax with CG blue pad (5.5 inch) that should be OK since the blue pad has zero cutting. Please advice.

You know, I misread the title, and missed the MF part.

Yes, the MF finishing pad and finishing wax are designed to remove mild marring left over from the previous step.

So if your surface came out perfect, you could get milder with a foam finishing pad. Then hand would be mildest.

Yes, you can apply the DA Finishing Wax with a foam pad, and your choice of a finishing pad is appropriate. You'll also want to use a low speed setting on the DA, 3 max, and use light pressure as well.
