How often to use Meguiar's Ultimate Polish

I just used Meguiar's ultimate polish for the first time this past weekend, and finished up with Gold Class Wax. I've waxed my car twice since buying it in April. I know there is no limit to how often you can wax because it has no abrasives in it, but what about Ultimate Polish?

Doing some Google searches I found so many answers from every other wash, to every 5 washes, to 2 x a year. Meguiars, what do you say? I'm doing everything by hand, I dont mind the extra work, I enjoy cleaning.

I suppose in between washes I can still use Ultimate Detailer as much as I'd like also

Ult. Quick Wax will be even better for after washes.

As for the Ult. Polish, you can use it as often as you like, it is extremely mild.

Excellent, thanks! I was worried i'd thin out the paint. Because the car was black and shows dust I was thinking of using quick detailer on it to help keep it clean. Its parked in my garage unless I'm at work.

Yes, you would want something like a QD for dust, etc.

Though if going to use a lot, #135 would be good to look into.

You can use UP on a black pad to get that ultimate gloss to all your hearts content without fear of damaging the paint.

#135 is great. Much cheaper to buy in large quantity.

#135 is to be used here and there to just do a quick detail? In between washes I guess?

#135 is UQD in bulk.

30 dollars a gallon is much much cheaper than you would pay for the equivelant of UQD

Sorry to bump this up again, which is milder between Ult. Polish and Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound? I want to look for the mildest possible polish to my car.

I'm not sure on that one, but I really like Ult. Polish. I did it by hand and was impressed. I dont think I did as good as job as I should/could have. It took me 1.5 to do the whole car. I'm thinking from reading what others have said it took them that I probably didnt do a great job. I guess I was rushed.
