  • Got my bumper back from the panel beaters..

And realized the difference after I shined the light on it during the night.

According to my chasis the colour code is ZJ3. I was wondering what colour code is my car because the only Suzuki Swift colour that probably matches my colour is Z2U which I found in the below link.

We carry factory matched colors for all vehicles. All colors are available in touch up pens, touch up bottles, spray paint, and other professional sizes.

I know this isn't some panel beating forums but I would very much like my car to look the same colour after I detail it Any help would be great guys..

In order to get the best possible result its better if you visit a good paint shop in your area, samples can be mixed to make a good approach to your color.
Even with paint codes an accurate paint match is tuff to get because of the life you paint has had, exposure to sun light, harsh environment conditions, how paint has been taken care off , this factors affect the life of the paint, and its shade could vary. Is not and easy fix to get the right paint shade but good materials and time, and a good eye are good help. hotrod2:

If those two adjacent panels are supposed to match, and they obviously don't, then nothing you can do from a detailing perspective is going to make them match. If this was an insurance claim you should contact the insurance company and tell that you are not happy with the work done at the body shop, and explain why, even including this photo if possible. If it was not an insurance claim, then your only recourse is to talk to the body shop about this mismatch.

        Thanks guys for the info.

I have managed to get in contact with Suzuki in regards to the colour and they were shocked with the result that came out. They said that no matter what the paint should come out as bluish black pearl and the person clearly forgot to add pearl into the mixture or rather just got the wrong mixture all together. I rang the panel beater and he said that he will discuss with his painter if there was anything missed out. Said that it will be repainted once confirmed.

Cross fingers I'll be ringing him tomorrow to see how he went.
