Cleaner for exterior/interior trim

Hola everyone,

I bought ultimate black today to use on my exterior trim. I had a cleaner to prepare the trim. I was wondering what alot of you use to clean to prepare your exterior trim, and if that cleaner can be used on interior to?

APC or APC+ are always good. And yes, can be used for about anything.

I tried a number of things, from dedicated consumer products, 1:1 water/isopropyl alcohol, quik interior detailer, to name a few. Last Thursday at the Mothership (Meguiar's HQ in Irvine, CA, during a Thursday Night Open Garage), I tried something suggested by one of the excellent technical staff persons. Excellent results.

I later found out it was Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner no.39. Later, I tried to buy some but all they had was Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner and Conditioner No. 40, so that's what I bought. Liked it even more than No. 39. Have used it on both interior and exterior and recommend it highly.

Both these products are from the Professional line and I otherwise wouldn't even have been aware of them if it hadn't been for the TNOG.
