  • What to use to look after a satin finish paint job.

Does anyone have experience looking after a satin finish car? I am purchasing a new car with a factory gun metal gray satin paint and the last thing I want to do is use the wrong wax to protect the finish.
    Any suggestions would be great.

    Thank you,
    Debbie

Our Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere will not add gloss to the paint so it's a great way to clean it up and add a bit of protection at the same time. One of the editors of a popular motorcycle magazine that is part of the Source Interlink Publishing group loves it on his custom painted, flat black motorcycle. Otherwise, you can use our Ultimate Quik Detailer or even our Ultimate Quik Wax, but that one should be sprayed onto a folded microfiber towel and wiped onto a completely clean surface, then wiped with a dry towel to remove any remaining product. You want to stay away from traditional liquid or paste waxes, other than one very specialized product (not ours) that retails for about $265 for a small 6.5 ounce jar. (!)
