  • Paint Cleaner?

I use and have a lot of Meg's stuff. What would be considered a paint cleaner in the line? Not necessarily a polish like 205, but more of a chemical cleaner. I am willing to go outside of the consumer line, as I do now.

Reason I am asking is because I just purchased a white car and feel a good paint cleaner will be necessary once a year or so.

    Thanks for the input.

    Re: Paint Cleaner?

Personally i would just use ultimate polish, swirlx or even m205, because you get that mild cleaning action in addition to the polishing oils. The closest thing i can thing of that is just a chemical cleaner would be deep crystal paint cleaner, but pretty sure thats been discontinued.

Alternatively, you could use a cleaner wax every so often to get the chemical cleaning action, colorx is good. Then top that with something like glod class, nxt 2.0 or ultimate wax.

Like LS1 said, ColorX would be a great choice.

M66 and D151 are two other options you have, and if I'm not mistaken, both are more agressive than ColorX. Keep in mind all of these products are AIOs. They remove light swirls, polish, and leave some wax behind.

        Re: Paint Cleaner?

Color X topped with Ultimate Liquid Wax would be a good choice. If you have fine scratches then you may want to go with something like Swirl X, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax.

And as mentioned above, M66 or D151.

The #205, Ult. Polish, SwirlX all have cleaning ability, not just polishing oils. So already ok there.
