Hello, my BMW has interior wood trim that is clear coated. I have been successful in removing the scratches. I am having problems fixing the "cracks", you can feel the cracks with your finger nail. I have even tried 1000 grit wet sand paper and Scratch X 2.0, its better but not where it needs to be. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Refinishing interior clear coated wood trim
If you've already gone so far as to wet sand and you can still feel the marks, you will probably need to fully strip the finish, prep the underlying wood, and respray a clear lacquer or similar - a full restoration, in other words. In all honesty, we have no clue if this coating is thicker or thinner than your exterior clear coat, but if you can feel these cracks even after wet sanding, then they're pretty darn deep. And if they truly are cracks, then they could be practically all the way through the top coating, hence the potential for a complete refinishing rather than a simple fix.Michael Stoops
