    What is the best way to clean head linner?

    I only clean head liner if it's needed...and if it's need only in the spots that it needs.


    What i like to know is how do you guys/girls clean head linner? do you shampoo the whole thing or do you do spots like i do. Also what products do you use..i use all purpose cleaner

    Yeah, generally as little messing with it as possible.

    APC is good.. I think the main thing is not getting it too wet. And stopping, letting it dry, then starting again if it starts to get wet.

        Some head liners are more forgiving to clean than others. A lot of the older Ford trucks (99 -06) are easier to clean due to the fact of the material they are made out of.

        If you are spot treating the head liner I would use a hot damp cotton cloth with some APC at 10:1. Always follow up with clean water to rinse out the APC solution.

        Whatever you do I would avoid saturating the entire head liner.

            From time to time, I would just spray Mr. Clean to a wet cotton cloth (not MF, too rough) and wipe down the head liner.
