They are pretty similar. Ultimate Wax is the longest lasting though, and also has amazing hydrophobic properties. Also, to me it seems to be a bit easier to apply. I prefer the Ultimate Paste as opposed to Ultimate Liquid, but everyone has their own preference. Should you switch to Ultimate Wax? In my opinion, yes. It may cost more, but a little bit of product goes a long way!Always searching for the best....Keep it country!

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
For my car, NXT and UW are 2 similar products which are interchangeable to me. The end results are exactly the same.
I have a silver car and I wash and wax often. If whether permits, I wash once a week and wax every 3-4weeks. So, longevity is not important to me.

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
I have recently used both the NXT 2.0 and the Ultimate Liquid Wax. I prefer the UW. I have now used it on 3 different cars and am amazed at the results. The cars look good even when dirty! It was stated before but use thin coats of the UW. It's not a problem if you use to much but it requires more buffing to remove.

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
I would give Ultimate Wax a try. It should be applied very thin, difficult to see unless viewed from multiple angles. If you can easily see it, then you are applying it too thick, I believe that Meguiars posted a thread awhile ago where they used about half an ounce of NXT. This should be the amount of UW that you use; or less.
Edit: Found the thread.

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
I have used both and like the ease of NXT 2.0 application and removal. The ULW is very easy to over apply, use thin/even coats and it will remove just as easy as it went on. I let it cure a few hours in my garage before removal. A great plus on the ULW is it will not turn rubber/plastic molding white. In fact, I apply the ULW to my black door handles and tailgate handle on my Race Red F150. I remove it in the same manner as the rest of the wax. It adds protection and slightly darkens the handles at the same time.

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
I really like both.
UW has a deeper look on dark colors but NXT 2.O removes a little easier IMO. Can't really go wrong with either.Tedrow's Detailing

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
I like them both...
This picture is last year when i use NXT 2.0 on my brother truck
and here is same truck ...i used Ultmate wax this time around...this is this only picture have from sunday detail didn't take it out of garage
IMO the Ultimate wax gave it more shine then the NXT. Yesterday my brother was driving the truck and it was a cloudy day and the shine was amazing and the truck is 13 years old

Re: NXT 2.0 V Ultimate Liquid Wax
Nice! The reflections from the Ultimate wax looks deeper and crisper than with NXT 2.0, both products work great though. One of the great things is having a nice shiny car, and people not knowing that it's more than a decade old. It goes to show that even a little T.L.C. done regularly can go a very long way in keeping cars regardless of age can make it look very good, if not as good as new.
