  • How to remove paint spots from car finish?

    Hey guys,

I think I drove into a small hole with some white paint near a constructions site. While washing the car at the car washing station, I found some stuck white paint dots on the interior of the fender, and a few behind the front wheels (that area under the driver's side door). I realized the importance of mud flaps now.

Any recommendations on how to remove these dots from car finish as well as from the interior part of the fender.

    Thanks all

Try using some clay on the affected areas.

Thanks Ghost, it worked fine with Meguiar's Quick Detailer + clay. Took some effort, but was perfectly removed.

Glad it went well for you, always good when the mild solution works.

This is why I usually keep my used clay bar for a while until the next clay job.

I do the full detailing (5-step) once a year but I keep the clay bar (wrapped in plastic) for small jobs like this.
