    Ultimate polish vs 205

    Hello, i need to know the difference between ultimate polish and 205 regarding their cutting power.
    I know that UP has a lot of oils but what about the cutting power?
    polishedbliss.co.uk says in the product specification that UP contains chemical cleaners, fillers and glazing oils but no abrasive particles!!!

    Whereas 205 has a cutting of 4/10 on their scale.

    So my question is can i use UP alone in order to remove light swirls (and not filling it because i will use IPA after it)?
    My last question is can you give me an idea of his cutting power on a scale if we consider 205 at 4/10?

    Are you working by hand or with a DA? I have no experience with 205, but have had success removing light swirls with Ultimate Polish. If I need just a little bit of extra cut I step up from a finishing pad to a polishing pad on my PC.

        UP definitely have some cutting power in it, as it derived from M205, although it have little less cutting power then M205 it have move polishing oil in it..

        Just some suggestion, if you want to remove the polishing oil with IPA latter, why don't you use SwirlsX instead ? Because UP is great because it have tons of polishing oil in it

          I work with a DA, i thank you all, so i presume UP is a little stronger than 82 or PO85RD while finishing better!If i am right that is really interesting!
          i think i will work it hard with a polishing pad to begin with, then a finishing pad with little pressure.

            I've actually raised the incorrect description with someone from Polished Bliss - their reply, despite linking them to posts over here, is that the Meguiar's representative in the UK told them the product has no abrasives. Supposedly they test every product they sell, don't know why they wouldn't notice that it had abrasives...
