  • best light to see scratches?

I have the usual arsonal of meg's products: black, yellow, red pads, m205, m105, wax, megs DA buffer and dewalt rotary. On my last car I buffed it out during the day, in the shade, and it looked great. By the time night rolled around and I saw the car in the dark(with street lights only) I could see a lot of scratches. By that time I had already applied two coats of wax....
What method can I use to make sure I can see all the light scratches during daylight hours? LED light? Halogen? Got a newer car now and a fresh start over to do a better job this time. Thanks!

The Brinkman Dual Xenon is popular.

Like this one? I should be able to pick that up locally right?

Doesn't seem to be available locally. Hard to find any kind of xenon light locally unless it's a small flashlight......

Buy a headlamp from Meijer or walmart that is LED. I would try for one that was 90 lumens or more. You can also find them on eBay easily. The high power LED from Fenix are nice, but can be overkill at times. The Fenix E11 would be a good option, plus its small.

Yeah, usually locally, but never know I guess.
