What's the best way to take off pollen without washing multiple times day everyday?

    Re: pollen

California Duster works well. or even just a dry microfiber with some quick detailer. one thing that might help is to buy a cover although it might look weird if you covered your car in a parking lot or something like that.

        Re: pollen

the pollin? or the duster? the duster could scratch i suppose if it gets dirt in it, but I havent had a problem with it ever and we have about 2 weeks a year when our town is yellow from pine trees. I had a duster for a while but now I just use a good microfiber and drag it over so the static cling factor kicks in. I'd just try it in a small test spot and figure out what works for ya.

yeah just be cautious, Ford usually makes some good paint I own a taurus and that paint is tough as nails. You might actually be able to get most of it off by just driving around especially if its slick from the wax.

                        Re: pollen

When using a 'duster', don't drag the head over the surface.

All you need is just the ends of the mop threads to make contact. Kinda like, just 'flick' the pollen off.

                        Make sense?

                            Re: pollen

If the pollen is that heavy then you may want a two pronged attack for routine removal: use a duster very lightly only to remove the heaviest of the pollen and then follow with a quick detail spray and a couple of clean microfiber towels to remove the balance. If you try to get everything off with just the duster you'll run a higher risk of marring the paint, mostly because you'll start to use some pressure with the duster, and that's never a good idea. But you should be able to remove most of the pollen with the duster, and the small amount that remains should be easy for a QD spray to safely pick up.
