  • Upholstery Protectant

I see plenty of Upholstery cleaners on the market for cleaning dirt spots, spills, etc but is there any kind of Upholstery Protectant? I was curious since i drive my neices and nephews around alot and they are messy, i wanna try some kind of protectant/repellant ti see if it works rather than having to clean spots everytime. Hope this makes sense i know i might of worded it kinda funny

ScotchGuard by 3M is probably most common. Havent used it myself, but I am sure someone here has.

I haven't myself either, but a friend uses ScotchGuard on his cloth seats, and the winter before last hot chocolate got spilled on the rear seat. It apparently works, because you cannot see where the spill was. Just like everything else, just don't let the spill, whatever it is, 'set' into the upholstery.

Scotchguard is ok, its no miracle product. But it does lessen the likelihood of stains occuring dur to spills or "accidents" you still want to remove the spill before it sets in or rolls off into a different area of the interior. I still recommend it though, you may want to get 2 cans of it to ensure complete coverage.
