New car steps and products?

Hi I have a brand new car and want the best start. I dont mind doing 5 steps .For sure wash,clay bar, ?, ult.polish, ultimate wax. Should I use ultimate compound or something else?.Car color is dark cherry

If the car is in good shape, and no swirls/defects to fix, I like this:

1. Wash - 2 buckets, grit guards, good quality towels, sponges, etc
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
3. ColorX
4. Wax - Ult. Wax, Nxt 2.0, etc

5. Maintain - Ult. Quick Wax for after future washes.

After you have it looking good....you can get fantastic and fast results using from the Detailer Line...Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax. That color you have will really pop! and look wet!!
