What tactics does everyone implement for cars that have been infrequently washed and are covered in assorted dirt and grime? Bear in mind, at the moment I don't have a pressure washer or any sort of foam gun. It's worth mentioning I use a two bucket, frequent rinse technique on 90% of my washes.

Re: Wash Techniques for neglected cars
Is the car going to get a full correction after the wash??
If so it doesnt matter overly due to the car getting polished after wards
not saying take a brillo pad but all damage inflicted is going to be removed

Re: Wash Techniques for neglected cars
I always use a pressure washer anytime I wash anything.
But for vehicles with stubborn grease, tar, & mud I would pre treat with a diluted APC or bug/tar remover.Nick
