Assuming you were actually trying to leave a wax layer behind, you would want to apply, let dry like a wax for 15 minutes or so, then remove.

If you are going to apply "2 coats of wax" like we often would, you would want the second step to be a regular wax like Nxt, etc.

with cleaner wax... you would work it in with moderate pressure as a cleaner, however my question is, do you just leave the product on to dry like a wax? No need to wipe the product...and then reapply with a finishing pad correct?

Cleaner WAX is just a WAX that has some polishing agents in it to give it some CLEANING abilities. So you treat it as a WAX and not a polish.
