  • boat wax??

a friend of mine said he used boat wax on his car and it looks mint. is this safe to use? i would think it's meant for fiberglass only?

A wax made specifically for a boat should should still work just fine on an automotive finish. I've used Meguiar's Flagship on the Milk Truck before, looked awesome when I was done.

I'm sure with a quality product, that there are formula differences that make a boat wax better for a marine environment and a car wax better for dry land environments, but as long as the wax is matched to the correct condition of the surface there shouldn't be any problems.

I don't think it would hurt. It's probably pretty "tough" stuff.

However, to be on the safe side, you can always give the folks at Meguiar's a call and ask them? The call is free.

EDIT: Mike beat me too it by 1 minute!

Sorry, I think Mike and I thought you were talking about "Meguiar's Boat Wax"?
