Well I have a challenge ahead of me. What would you recommend for products to carefully clean a 1937 Ford interior? This car was last licensed in 1967. The seats, headliner and door panels are in reasonably good condition, but have some grease and rust stains from the previous owner storing some parts inside the passenger area. As well there is a faint blackening everywhere, that is probably a form of mildew or mould. I know to try the mildest cleaners first and work my way to what will work, but I'm hoping someone will have some tips, since I'm very hesitant to try things on such fragile, aged fabric. This car is just going to be a driver, not a show piece, but I'd like to preserve it as best as possible. Thanks in advance, for any info anyone can share.

Re: Very Old Mohair Interior Cleaning-Help Needed.
Here's my first attempt at posting a picture here. The car only has 72,000 miles showing on the odometer. Plans are just to freshen up the engine, that had a blown head gasket and make it a fun driver. Probably will add a dropped axle and convert to hydraulic brakes. Not shown in this picture, it has a factory radio, that mounts under the dash, with a stalk that has a round face dial with the V8 logo as the dial pointer. [IMG][/I
