hey all, so I've been using the Meguiar's consumer brand for a few years now and stumbled across the pro series of products(mainly for bulk). So I've decided to move over to these and was wondering if anyone can tell me what all i need for a full car wash and detail. I hope its not to broad of a question. I already plan on getting 105 and 205 and most of the cleaners in bulk (i.e. wheel brightener, multi purpose cleaner, etc..). What product is best for interior... I guess like armour all, and which one is best for a high gloss shine for the tires. I currently use that black magic gel because it stays on the tires for soo long.

1. Wash - #62 is my favorite, others like Super Soap. But Gold Class is still a good price usually.
2. Clay - can use the Blue Clay, and then either QD still, or Last Touch or Final Inspection as lube.
3. Clean - If you want a stronger and milder cleaner, I would have to say Ult. Compound and #205 will be the better combo instances.
4. Polish - #7 if you want a pure polish
5. Wax - #21 2.0 or #26 are popular, but there really isnt an Ult. Wax equivalanet either.

6. Maintain - You can get the Ult. Quick Wax in bulk, forget the Detailer Line number.

7. Interior - #40 is probably the most all around detailer. All Season Dressing is pretty durable on exterior. Not really a direct Ult. Protectant equivalent. There is a QID in bulk now.

But those are some ideas to look into.

I think you mean D156 Synthetic Express Spray Wax

Also, if you're after a QD, Last Touch is a very economical product in bulk and it's an awesome product too. Plus, you can dilute it to use as a clay lube, as Murr suggested.

...Or another option would be M135 which is not as cheap as LT but has the hydrophobic properties and is still quite economical IMO.

is there any difference in last touch and final inspect (primarily shine), for wash i still have half a bottle of ultimate wash & wax (love the smell), and half a bottle of tech wax 2.0. with the #40 I plan on getting that and hyper-dressing. Would I be getting virtually the same thing? I plan on using the red clay because I'm getting the car Thursday and I'm almost 100% sure its never had a really good cleaning. I actually plan on washing it with dawn and starting from scratch (any input on that would be greatly appreciated). As for polish no 105? Or can I do 105 then 205 then 7? The seats are leather and suede so I'm getting the leather cleaner & conditioner. Is this sufficient enough to prevent cracking and is it safe for the suede? As for the glass cleaner concentrate is it any better than Windex because we already buy Windex in bulk. thanks again and looking forward to yalls responses.

I think the Last Touch will be glossier, but not certain. It is diluted 1:1 with water for claying because it has a lot of the slick, oil type stuff in it.

It would be close. The #40 has some cleaning ability. The bottle of HD will certainly last longer, but on the car, it is water based, so wont be as durable as others.

Definitely blue. Almost never a need for red for a regular detailer.

No real need for Dawn, it doesnt really do anything to move the process forward. There are cases where it can help of course, but rare.

You are picking up a used car? Know much about the condition, what it is, etc?

If you are working by hand/DA, UC is the better product in most cases.

I dont know that you will see much difference using #7 after #205, but some people like to use a pure polish. Thats just up to you, #205 already has a good amount of the polishing oils in it.

Not sure about suede.

As for the regular leather, yes it is good. I like the cream/gel more than the spray or wipes. The spray is ok for a touch up, but seems like the cream/gel is better to work in a bit. I like to apply, let sit a bit, then remove excess.

The Glass Cleaner Concentrate is fantastic. You could also look at the Nxt Glass Cleaner or the new glass cleaner they just came out with. All are fantastic and better than Windex, and fine for around the house as well of course.

Just to add to the above - The Megs glass cleaners are "tint safe", whereas Windex is not, due to its ammonia content.
