I opened the can and it looks dried out. It looks like the moisture has evaporated and the wax sunk in. Is the wax still good?

Re: Did my NXT 2.0 paste wax go bad?
I don't know if this will work with NXT 2, as I have never used it. However, it does work with M16, other paste waxes, and even old dried up and cracked shoe polish in a can.
Float the product in a pan of water. Put it on the stove, and heat the water. Slowly, no need to boil the water. The wax will liquify. Once that happens, turn off the heat, and let it cool. The wax will solidify, and become like new. This works for most kinds of paste wax, but again, I have never tried NXT, or this method to revive it.

I've seen cracking on NXT 2.0 paste even when new, the one i first bought more than a year ago. Even a competitor's similar pre-softened paste wax also has a couple of cracks in it. Try rubbing an applicator first on the wax, it SHOULD melt into the applicator.
